Welcome to Highlander Homestead! 

We are The Klines! We are a first-generation homestead family raising our boys with muddy boots, full hearts, and a commitment to simpler living. With no farming background and a lot of determination, we are learning as we grow!

Riley and I are high school sweethearts! We met at our local homeschool co-op when I, Hailey joined my first-year homeschooling. 5 1/2 years later we got married amidst covid.

In 2022 we built our home with the thought of maybe one day owning a few chickens. Chickens very quickly turned into chickens and ducks, then goats, pigs, and finally, our very first cow. We built a big garden and started learning how to home cook and preserve with what we grew.

Very quickly we realized how much we loved the homestead life. We decided to name our homestead "Highlander Homestead" with one of our ultimate goals one day being one of the few places in our area that breeds and sells purebred highlander cows. We are so excited to continue to grow and bring you along for the wild ride!
